With so much going on at COP26, we wanted to make things easier for everyone. Therefore, we answer the question, "What is the Global Day of Action for Climate Justice?"
What is the Global Day of Action for Climate Justice?
The Global Day of Action for Climate Justice is a number of decentralised mass mobilisations across the world. It's where climate activists and supporters can come together to show unified support in the fight against climate change. The global event brings climate movements from all around the world together with the aim to build power for systematic changes.

Who Can Take Part?
Anyone!
The Global Day of Action for Climate Justice is open to everyone. If you are passionate about climate justice and want your voice to be heard then you're looking in the right place. The mass event will see people from all walks of life and organisations from all over the world take place in demonstrations both in person and online.
As the COP26Coalition page states, the Global Day of Action for Climate Justice will bring together Indigenous peoples to trade unions, from racial justice groups to youth strikers. In Glasgow alone, the march is expected to attack 100,000 people.
How Can I Take Part in the Global Day of Action for Climate Justice?
There are two main ways to take part in the Global Day of Action for Climate Justice. You can either attend in person or virtually.
Attending in Person
If you decide to attend in person, you will need to find a local event near you. Events are taking place all over the world and will vary slightly with different speakers speaking at different locations.
Local hubs for the Global Day of Action can be located here. However, also look out on your favourite organisations and charity websites as they may well be organising and attending themselves. For example, Friends of the Earth Climate Action page (who's banner image we've used for this post) has further tips and resources on how to take part.
Attending Online
The Global Day of Action for Climate Justice can also be attended online through the Digital Rally. This is a perfect opportunity for anyone who is unable to attend a local event in person.

Who's Attending the Global Day of Action for Climate Justice?
It's difficult to know exactly who is going to be attending the Global Day of Action for Climate Justice events. Confirmed speakers provide some idea with climate activist Great Thunberg set to deliver a speech in Glasgow. Also speaking at the Glasgow event are:

- Vanessa Nakate from Uganda
- Darren McGarvey from Scotland
