Report from 4th Odisha River Conference Published

CHEC is excited to share that the final report from the 4th Odisha River Conference has been published. The full report can be downloaded here. The conference, partially sponsored by CHEC, was held on from the 21st - 22nd March in Angul, India proved to be a resounding success.

Both UK Trustee Ripin Kalra and Youth Advisor Abhiir Bhalla were able to participate: ”A video message from Abhiir Bhalla, Youth Adviser to the Commonwealth Human Ecology Council, UK was played out in the conference. Congratulating the organisers for hosting such a collectively owned and managed initiative around rivers and related resources, he said it was satisfying for him that the conference aims at connecting more youths to the rivers, other commons and build their capacity on naturebased solutions initiatives. River conservation, if understood in an integrated approach, that is linked to all other natural resources, can actually be one of the best nature-based solutions especially if we engage with all stakeholders.”
