Statement from the Commonwealth Human Ecology Council (CHEC) on the death of HRH The Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh

It is with great sadness that the Commonwealth Human Ecology Council (CHEC) learned of the death  of His Royal Highness, The Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh. Throughout his life Prince Philip gave great support to the Commonwealth, attending Commonwealth Heads of Government Meetings and visiting many member countries. His passion for environmental conservation and support for young people through The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Scheme, covering 140 countries around the globe, sat well within CHEC's mission. At this sad time, CHEC wishes to express condolences to Her Majesty The Queen and all the Royal Family.
