CHEC Gambia: Annual Turtle Hatchlings Release
A successful program on the 21st of October 2023 at the Gunjur beach in the west coast region the Gambia west Africa. CHEC Gambia Director Badara N Bajo and the Gunjur Environmental Protection and Development Group GEPADG and the Bolongfenyo team work to release the turtle hatchlings to safety.
Director Bajo thanked the participants for helping release the turtle hatchlings away from predators into the sea, “We thank all those who participated in today’s programme - our annual turtle hatchlings released to safety into the sea away from any predators. We also thank our camera crew Summer, Jordan Smith Bajo, Ousainou and Hassan for a job well done!”
