Jennifer holds a Master of Science (tech) in molecular biology and a Graduate Diploma in Sustainable Practice.  Her training initially led to a career in cancer research and then pivoted to becoming an environmental and sustainability manager within New Zealand’s largest dairy processing company Fonterra, implementing ISO14001:2015 across several manufacturing sites and managing wastewater treatment. 

Jennifer is currently an elected member of New Zealand’s Waikato Regional Council 2019-2022 triennium, representing the community of Hamilton Kirikiriroa and leading their Climate Action Committee and other local climate action activities.
