Hayden is an Economist specialising in development and environmental Economics. He has over 3 years of experience in public sector and was responsible for producing analysis during the development of the UK's Net Zero Strategy.

He is interested in politics, data science and international development. In 2019 he was awarded the University of Kent’s ‘Outstanding Contribution to Student Voice’ award for establishing a student voting campaign, increasing the turn out of under represented groups. Hayden is keen to use his skills to make a positive change through the use of sustainable solutions. He believes CHEC would give him the opportunity to turn this into a reality.
