16.30 – 18.00 Global Climate Action High-Level Event: Uniting on the Pathway to 2030 and Beyond

COP 28 Climate Change Conference participants are invited to the closing of the mandated Global Climate Action (GCA) High-Level Event with the participation of the COP 27 Presidency, COP 28 Presidency, the High-Level Champions, and other non-Party stakeholders. The closing of the GCA High-Level Event aims to explore how non-State actors are driving holistic action towards meeting the ambitions of the agenda, how the GCA agenda is contributing to tangible progress and what the plans look like to take stock of progress at a global level.
Parties, observers and other non-Party stakeholders who wish to take the floor in the event are kindly invited to send their requests to make an intervention of no longer than 3 minutes to globalclimateaction@unfccc.int by Monday, 11 December 2023 at 12.00 hrs., with the subject line: “GCA HLE Intervention.” While efforts will be made to accommodate all requests, given time limitations, priority will be given to requests from Parties.
